ASB/LeadershipI was in leadership my freshman year and sophomore year. Leadership was always that one class that I couldn't wait to go to. At the time they made it bit hard getting into leadership so when I was got it I felt like I had to set a really good example for everyone else here at LHS. Being in leadership meant so much more. It meant you had to be a leader. You had to set an example for the kids below your grade as well as everyone else. I'm glad I got to have the experiences I did with this group of people because it has somewhat shaped me into the person I am today.

Tutoring
I have been in Careers and Education for 2 years in a row now. The first half of the semester you do worksheets/hands on assignments then second half we get to choose where we want to tutor. This class consists of being able to deal with children and a lot maturity and patience. I enjoy being able to go to different school sites to help aid any teachers that need the help as well as going and helping the little ones.
Work Study
My work study group was an awesome group of people that I got very close to throughout summer vacation. I worked as a summer school teacher at Lincoln Elementary. We would get paid minimum wage every hour and we worked from 8:00AM to 2:00PM for 3 weeks. It was bittersweet because half of my summer was going to waking up early mornings and heading to school. The good outcome of it was that I was getting paid for dealing with kids and that isn't a hard task for me since I have experience with children.
